If you've ever driven on the highway with the rear window open you'd notice that open window sucks dirt etc in like a vacuum.
I'd think that spoiler may reduce the vacuum effect.
Maybe? Or maybe it's just another component that gets scratched and ripped off at the car wash.
But at speeds of 200 mph plus it probably holds the truck down on the blacktop.
Anyone ever see a 200 mph plus Tacoma?

Wait a second...the description says for use on trucks WITHOUT sliding rear glass, but the second picture shows sliding rear glass. Or did I miss something? And, $234.00?? Ummm...NO!

It needs those sideways wheels where only 20% of tire touches road, or at least hubcap spinners

Has anyone here gone cycling with road bikes? I used a friends bike once. It was very high quality $10k bike. The draft, getting behind someone, makes a huge difference. I could really feel that peddling was much easier. It also helped to put my head down.

Point is.. I was going no more than 15-20mph and aerodynamics already started to make a big difference on the strain put on my legs. If a spoiler like this can help with efficiency, then I am all for it.

I think the aim is to improve aerodynamics, and it looks to do so. Should increase laminar flow over the truck, causing less turbulence/drag. I don't know if it's worth $200, but every bit helps, I'm honestly surprised the Tacoma didn't come with one considering they finally added one to the tailgate.

If that ugly ass thing improved efficiency in any way it would come from the Factory that way, with ridiculous EPA rules and regulations they have to eek out every fraction of a MPG they can.

No, EGR states that their products are for appearance and serve no other useful function

If bug deflectors could keep bugs from hitting the windshield, every manufacturer would be running them for aero to keep the wind from hitting the windshield and would make huge gains in mpg
