The best day I had when I was an owner of an old 72 ford 3/4 ton 4wd, Dana axles,3 driveshafts,13" lift, was the day I traded it in for my old 97 Toyota 4wd. Good riddance old pos.

    All on its own power

When I bought it in 1981 it had a 390 with ported polished 428 SCJ cyl heads and factory 406 Tri Power intake . that set up ran low 13's and after a few months I traded the 390 for a complete running medium riser dual 4bbl 427 side oiler . I then found a set of tunnel port heads and tunnel port dual 4bbl intake and then put the biggest Clay Smith cam in it

I bought the car originally for $1400 and 7 years later sold it for $4500 . To this day and actually right now every time I think of this car I get pissed because I sold it

I'm the same way with my Chevelle. But I needed the money for college.
If I knew what the college was going to reach me I would have saved my money.
Didn't help my job placement and I still started at min wage.

Chevy... :headbang: Back when Chevy was cool. Having the big three as customers, of them Ford gets my vote now. GM has some real jerks to deal with nowadays. Dealing with DC, now Fiat Chrysler, wasn't too bad. So glad to be out of automotive now.

California doesn't allow trucks older than 94.
    (edit)
Actually I might be wrong about this. It would appear that right now you cannot have a vehicle older than 2007 unless you report it to CARB and outfit it with a Particulate Filter.
So, since I haven't worried about going to California since 2003 I was a little outdated on my info. So, the old truck would work fine for me because I am not buying a truck new enough to be exempt from Commiefornias bullshit, so I won't be going there.

Ok I need some info and excuse this poss. extremely stupid question.

Let's say I want to make a cup of coffee Over an open fire.

The only thing I don't have is a cup. Is there something out there that can stand being heated over a fire to heat water and use to drink it.
I don't want to do the coffee maker and mug deal.
I'm just curious. Tried looking and not having much luck.
Is this out of the ballpark or is there such a item?
I don't camp so all new backpacking tech is all new to me.

    Mine was the opposite.
Had 396 emblems on it and the SMC sitting in the bay looked awfully small. Insulted the losers even more.. Lol

I dunno. Any metal cup would work id think, but, do you really think its a good idea to try drinking out of something you've heated water in over a fire?
You might want to look into JetBoil or MSR stuff.
I have an MSR windburner with the coffee press and it works well, With the lid I think you could drink out of it, but I use a cup, and thats what I would suggest.
