Was in Homewood for two years prior to Athens. Had a loft there , there was a very cool pizza place with a huge outdoor area with big screens . Great pizza very cold beer !!!

Small world, I'm from Athens! After I retired from law enforcement, I moved back to the BHM area. I was the store manager at a shop in homewood on 31 (Alabama Outdoors-on the odd chance you'll know it).

We love the Bridgeport area! It's our escape from the hordes of Yosemite.

The Bridgeport area is great, but it is becoming a bit more crowded than I would like. As much as I love it, I won't go near The Valley from Memorial Day to Labor Day. It's really sad...

Yea. Try working there and not having that option. That's why we escape to the east side every Friday. We go anywhere from Bishop to Reno

Sure is really nice there. Always drove past when driving down south. Always took the 395 to go to Socal vs the 5 from Tahoe. A lot more beautiful of a drive

Out fishing recently - scenic considering all the fires we're still having. This summer has been hazy!

Lol , yep this marble is small. I still have the home in Athens, Brigadoon on the river. I get back there 3-4 times a year.
Your in Yosemite area now ?

That's a fun pic. I love heavy equipment. Are you into logging for a living? Or just checking that monster out?

No, I'm not a logger, just a fan of the big iron. The scale of these yarders is always hard to judge til you see a tiny Taco parked next to one.
