Shit nick, got any sandbags or cans of spray foam? I'd be trying everything I could to keep it from coming in. My street is starting to disappear right now. Looks like I won't be sleeping again so I can keep an eye out.

Good to know. No sand bags. Got some boards but that's about it. The trailer is strapped to a fire hydrant. The fiancés car is in the garage on jack stands. The yxz and the dirtbike should be ok along with the hypermotard. All my electronic shit in the garage is off the ground. Good thing I got a second floor apartment. Why don't they have a second story garage?

I wish!!!! Knowing it was gonna be this bad I would've taken all my stuff to the shop and racked it in the air

We racked up everything at our shop, and parked cars underneath em too in case we ended up with hurricane winds. My brother tried to drive to our shop and said roads flooded and shops getting ready to take on water. I'm worried about all the expensive electronic equipment that's low sitting.

Just saw a news story about price gouging between Houston and Austin; some crooks are charging up to double for hotel rooms and gas, and a $3 case of water priced at $20. WTF?

Report all price gouging to the Texas Attorney Generals office. Info on the link provided.

I ended up landing in Austin and left on i35 to Laredo. While driving we secured a room at a Honewoods Suits for $160/night. When we went to check out the "manager" hands over a receipt for $288. I questioned the charges and his response was "its the tax and other charges". Told him I would be reporting the price gouging to the state. He started to stutter and adjusted the price down to the $160 + fees. Assholes taking advantage of the people while on their weakest.

    This is not good.

I just saw I-45 north at cypresswood is now impassable

The Brazos river is flooding fast and a huge mandatory evacuation has been implemented out here

Lake Conroe dam is being opened more to relive the lake. That means more flood water for houston.

Addicks and Barker reservoirs are opening their damns.

It get worse, my lowland peeps. All over the Austin news is how the Colorado is going to hit an unprecedented high in Bastrop and La Grange around 1100 today. At the rate it's moving, it'll be in Houston tomorrow.

We need to lift the entire city about 20 feet, but there ain't enough cinder blocks in the world.

    Hang tight y'all.

Colorado flows out the gulf at bay matagorda. The are evacuating Bay City and are expecting the whole town to be under 10 feet of water.
