28.9 MPG going 75MPH

We all have these trucks...wth?

 

I do not think any experience I have seen here from anyone else reflects these numbers or performance.

 

I always press gas because of the slight elevation and decending...but it equals out.

 

bottom line...this truck, maybe only my truck...wants low RPM. I give her that! Thats all

You gettin backlash because 28.9mpg while cruising 75 on truly flat ground for any extended period of time is not possible in a Tacoma. Simple as that.

What factors played in that got you that picture we may never know but its beside the point really. What you claimed is misleading.

 

I'd like to know how to get over 27mpg at 75mph in a tacoma on flat and level ground!

 

All our trucks do it. Just requires perfect conditions and lasts for 15 seconds.

 

I want it to last for more than 15 seconds!
