    Good Morning
We stopped in Fairbanks for the night. Decided trying to find the trailhead in the dark, having not hunted here before, would be a tactical error. We'll head out for the final 100 miles here in a bit. This enclosed trailer really gives us some flexibility.

Hope the day treats all of you well. :)

Prayers for those recovering from Harvey, and the crews doing the wotk down there.

Morning all, back to work, kid starts school today.

He did some body damage to the neighbors car and tool out the wheel bearing on the DS rear. The truck has 2 creases in both PS doors and the steering wheel is pointed at 2 o'clock already told him he is paying for an alignment.
You are doing it right, Mike. Adjust it as you go. It needs to be stuff you would use. And get a backpack for God's sake.
Don't bother with the collapsible cups, imogo they are crap. The rings break and the rubber never gets clean and they always pop open in the pack. Get a steel mug or the newer alloy double walled ones...worth it and stuff a bandana in it they are useful.
    Have a great trip, Rob

:sorry: About back to work and the boy's accident. Kids ... for all the joy they bring, they can sure be a PITA. o_O ... meant with total dad love. ;)

EDIT: I agree on the collapsible cup deal...and it's a RAM ... stupid smart phone.

Hey Kevin, did you ever get any rain from Harvey?

    Hey ,

You guys that do a lot of ground prep work for road, foundation, pads etc if you see a roll of that good weed fabric can you get the name of the manufacturer off it? I have used the stuff from the big box stores before but it never seems to last that long. I ran into a guy when I was buying some equipment his gravel drive had not one weed on it and it is huge . We were talking I was like damn how much does it cost you for the weed killer to keep the grass etc down. He said nothing and took me back and showed me this 8 foot wide roll of the stuff the pros use heavy stuff but no name on the roll . Figured some of you have seen it ,used it etc and might be able to get me a name. I need to do my driveway before this winter and some other areas and do not want to waste money. The weed killer / ground clear that is supposed to last a year yeah umm maybe 6 months .

Not for me , gotta stay in shape and exercise ea and everyday

Mike you've got to do some cardio and stretching exercises

For me being 55yrs old and will be 56 in October I'm still able to touch the ground with my hands . also limber enough when doing hamstring stretches I can put my chin on my thigh

Stopping here in Fort Stockton for food and gas. Finally got away from most of the wind, still cloudy and no rain. But now we're in that other system spinning the opposite direction north and west of all the action.

    Afternoon everyone

The pest control tech just sprayed my place and he found the nest or hiding spot of the Brown Widows . Right at my entry way into my place near the door sill was where we found them running from the insecticide

Found probably 10 maybe 12 baby spiders then we found the Mom . This Female had to have been near almost 2" in dia and the abdomen was over 1/2"

The tech picked it up and took a picture of it so to send confirmation to his office on what it was . The reason was there haven't been Brown Widows seen in this area before . Also he and myself couldn't find an orange hour glass on its belly . He said it looks almost like a LG Brown Recluse and needed confirmation from his office

He told me not to go near it or touch it as he wasn't clear of the identification and why I didn't get a pic . they're coming back next Monday to spray my place again

    Good luck and have fun!

Congrats on your 24th! No not a bad Monday at all. Especially if you can sleep through that 4 hour meeting :)

Truth. Last fall hunting in SD between my sciatic nerve and left foot with degenerative arthritis I was a wreck. Still walked and pretty stayed up with everyone and the dogs. But I managed to step into every badger hole there was, long way up and out of those damn things. I was told by several that it was painful to watch and that there is nothing wrong with taking a day off to rest and stay in town. One day I managed to trip face first on a barbed wire fence that was buried in deep grass and low to the ground. I had to use my gun to help me get up and of course did it as fast as I could like nothing had happened. They stared at me and finally the Cdr. said he felt the earth shake on that fall. I laughed and so did everyone else. I took the next day off. Long damn ways to get back up. But can sure come up fast on you when your going down LOL.
