Might need to borrow a 2nd gen fender with a snorkel... my family lives in Houston and is stranded in their home. If it gets much worse a snorkel fender would be much appreciated. If nothing else I will bring you the fender and snorkel back if the truck floods.

Fording water that deep with a snorkel, but no other mods (like extended breathers for drivetrain parts, raised/relocated electronic control modules, fan shutoff switch) is a recipe for destruction. You sit in water that deep for any length of time, you'll damage something.

no snorkel for sale, but maybe this boat is?

I've seen a lot of posts up down there for people with built rigs helping out...if you family needs help, reach out to some local threads or groups to see if they can help instead of risking destroying your rig...

need to find a unimog group, i'm sure they're running rescue missions... there were some here when flooding hit up north years back
