Did you do a write up on it? How do they come on? When tailgate opens or by a on/off switch.

    From post above yours:
Scosche or Metra double din install kit. I can't confirm the Metra fits as well as the scosche.

    Yawn...
Gas mileage. Tundra badly needs a redesign, especially in this matter.

That being said, I'd rather eat the gas bill and enjoy a peace of mind with reliability.

Not trying to stir the pot, I am a diehard Toyota lover.

That thing is a freaking beast!

I was looking at buying one to use on the front of my truck for surf fishing. Any clearance issues with how much she hangs off the back of the truck?

No clearance issues, I did put Hellwig helper springs on for some help with the sag. But I wanted one for up front just didn't work how I wanted to with the frame set up in the front end. I made the base out of steel and the cage out of aluminium. It's a bit heavy but has know issues with my 125 quart yeti loaded with ice.

Gotcha, I bought the Mobtown Recovery bar that comes with the hitch. Hoping I get that installed before my trip to OBX this fall. Just need to browse CL for a cheap option.

I travel with my rods in a Ski rack, but when I move spots on the beach it's a PITA to put them all back up there. A cooler/rod rack would be perfect.

I have the same cooler waiting to go in. It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be.

Where are you located on the Eastern shore? I have a guy that does all my welding for aluminium and he's fair. I priced what I wanted a few shops in Wanchese and Kitty Hawk and he did it for about 60% less. Materials I have about $110 in the steel, $200 in the aluminium and $50 in the piece of corion

He can probably duplicate mine very easy, he lives in Camden NC, just south of Chesapeake VA. If you were interested I could get you a price.

Appreciate the offer, but I don't need anything as large as yours at the moment. I would be interested in some pics once you put her to use. I do like the integrated cutting board.
