The wife straight up told me she hates my truck, but also said she knows it brings me joy, so she keeps it to her self. I stopped really telling her anything about what I'm doing unless I need to work on it and need no interruptions

Yeah, I know mine isn't too fond of it either. She knows it brings me joy but also fails to see the point in all the money I dump into it

You folks are the only lucky ones I televise my mods to. I keep it hush hush for the rest in hopes of keeping the peace.

    Now I'm confused.

I was always told that race trucks got bitches.

Do it. My girlfriend just bought her 4Runner yesterday. IMG_1139.jpg

I already have my old 20" light bar in gonna throw behind the grille and she wants a mild lift and 285's when she wears out these tires. But we all know how that spirals into an LT money pit. I'll probably make the rtt modular so it can mount to either vehicle when I get it as well.

She enjoys riding in my truck and driving it when I have too many beers. And she knows it makes me happy, but she also knows how much it costs. She knows eventually she will probably be getting a ring and a promotion from girlfriend, and reminds me often that the money I am spending on the truck better not interfere with that.

Not many people are high on red but i love the color on 4runners and tacomas. But i hear you. Mine also makes me aware that the money i spend better not interfere with a ring, but would also not like me to spend anymore money on the truck... period:rofl:

What's sad is my gf thought she was competing with my truck for a solid year...it took her that long she was more important than the truck. Before you guys go nuts, yes I plan to get serious with this one. She still gets weary if I spend too much time with the truck haha.

My girlfriend jokes all the time that i like the truck more than her. I repeatedly try to remind her that i wouldnt spend the money on the truck if i didnt have it. Im definitely not living paycheck to paycheck, still save and have alot of money in the bank. Me doing stuff to my truck is my reward for working so hard in life

Changing my upper arm setup to plate sandwhich and the holes won't be like that if at all

Well judging by how sick your truck is, I'm not surprised. Ideal situation, drop that much money and have my girlfriend be fine with it… but that aint happening:rofl:
