yeah that's what I'm thinking as well, but for someone who doesn't plan on running 35's it would bug me haha I would get use to it at some point, but I know my friends, and I know every now and then some one would say "doesn't that bug you" and the process would start all over again

People here are panicking and have flooded the gas stations thinking that we are going to be left without gas. I just passed a gas station with about 40 cars in line for gas. This is not good :anonymous:

oh yeah, meant to say this before haha things move so fast here I sometime forget what I wanted to say hahaha one thing about living up here, its rare to find a fellow TW member who is actually quite active on the forum/actually a taco enthusiast. so coming across great deals like you got on the bumper is slim to none unfortunately. so me and @Kemosabe are stuck to paying full pop and too much shipping hahaha I'm always keeping my eye on kijiji for some deals tho because now and then one does show up haha got a good deal on some SPC UCA's thanks to kemosabe!

hmmm I never thought of that before, the impact flooding would have on a gas station. I wonder if they are water proof enough to not get contaminated

People are driven mad by panic and misinformation. They think because Houston is struggling with gas and refineries are down we wont get gas delivered down here. They seem to forget we have an entire state still unharmed :notsure:

yeah it is one downside, the only way you find a good deal, is if some poor sucker paid for it to get shipped up here and then got rid of the truck or something, the guy I bought the UCA's off of bought then when he was down in the states and he also had a avid light bar for sale that he bought down there as well, I was highly contemplating buying it but I had no more money haha

Is it possible to get stuff shipped somewhere near the border in the USA, then just drive down and get it? Or are you supposed to claim it and pay a tax of some sort on it?

you can indeed do that. a lot of places wont ship to a p.o box which poses one set back. I do believe there are places that will let you ship to them and u go pick it up. but I'm about an hour-ish away drive one way which would be worth it BUT like u said, I am SUPPOSED to claim it n pay tax n duties and all that stuff lol so in the end, I ask myself, is it worth it?
