    Took a very last minute camping trip. Left home at 6, ended up in the Canyon at 8. Got SUPER lucky and found a spot at the 3rd camp site. Also, Got a shell for the truck. Just need to get it color matched now to look even more Badass.

    Great quail hunting out that way for sure. This was out at willow springs ranch near oracle, grew up quail hunting out there with my dad almost every weekend of the season. Been spending more time out there lately looking for shed antlers, man there are some nice mulies in those parts.

    Yeah, I miss that. The deer we have here are, well...

    The saying "everything's bigger in Texas" has a disclaimer - the deer are large dogs. I can drop the ones near me with a .22! Some south of Austin top out at 45 pounds...after a meal.
