He seems to be toxic to morale at the club. With a player like that, you're going to struggle getting everyone else up to the mental level they need to be at to progress in the UCL.
I saw some mentions the other day about how Coutinho wanted to talk to Klopp and attempt to come to some sort of amicable solution for both parties. Just seems like some backtracking now that he thinks he may not actually go. Liverpool is in the right for blocking his Xfer. Definitely a lose-lose, hopefully Klopp and the board can figure out how to get past this.
You guys already have a hard enough schedule with the way the Prem operates...coupled with player and transfer issues, that's why i'm predicting you guys to narrowly miss the round of 16. I think Sevilla outclasses Liverpool most days(however, they are the UEL rock stars so maybe theyll go back and win), and Spartak is literally only playing for the UCL - and their domestic league is a joke. Could possibly edge a spot, but it won't be easy.

 

So in the news this morning, Liverpool fear that if they reject the next bid for Coutinho that he will take his frustrations to the media. Obviously that would be really bad.
So lets say Fenway sports group decide that he is in fact toxic and lets sell. Who would they go after to replace him? Is there time to even find a replacement?

Dortmund will not sell pulisic, especially with Dembele pretty much being confirmed to leave. Pulisic shouldn't leave the bundesliga yet anyways, i think he knows that as well.

Yep Pulisic is definitely not going anywhere. He's said all summer he's happy and not leaving. If I remember right he said Liverpool was not a favorable option at this point in time. Gotze was a dead end as well if you remember. I believe he would have fit in well. I wouldn't be surprised if they did sit on that stack of money. If only Lallana weren't injured. He's not as talented as Coutinho but still a great attacking midfielder. He has good vision.
