So my wife works at the Zion Adventure Company in Springdale, not quite working for the park but dang close. Also, we can get great deals on adventure gear.

I luckily work at the Toyota Dealership around here. So between us both, discounted adventures and Yota work!

That's the one! I've grown up there but once it became time to chose my own homebase, Utah just had far too many benefits to offer.

Loving every day so far. Everyone tried to scare us with the dreaded summer heat, but even this one being aggressive wasn't too bad. Go canyoneering or paddling, beat the heat.

Anyone here interested in going out for some ropework? I've got plenty of rope, you just need your own harness and we'll cover the rest!

    Haha!

I grew up in St. George, so the irony of that statement is pretty hilarious!

Enjoy it. I miss it often, but not enough to move back :D

I'm sorry to hear that... Glad you got out. Utah is sooo much better than that flat shit back home. Don't get me wrong, I love Texas (I'm from San Antonio/Austin) but it's so much better here if you like getting outside. Welcome Pardner!

Marble Falls is my hometown and I want to retire to Utah. No interest in going back to Texas.

Brian Head / Cedar City thiis weekend was a blast. High of 62, low of 41 was very enjoyable. Set a new elevation record for my Taco: 11, 307'. First RTT use was a rousing success as well!

For me it was a kid thing, just like Maccas. Kids want what's marketed to them regardless if it's crap. When we lived outside of San Antonio it was "Taco Cabana" as much as possible. Once I got settled in to the area I stumbled on "Rolando's" on the south side and that became my go to until I left the region.

I did a little modifyng to the cooking area over the last couple of days. I made a new top for the main compartment that I hinged so now you can flip it over giving access to the cooking stuff inside and have a shelf to set the camp stove to cook.

There's more about it in the camper build I think I'm going to modify the other compartment next after we get back from this trip

Well that is rude... damn heat sucks though....

I am from Texas and rarely eat at Whataburger, except for breakfast, because the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit and the Taquitos is where it is at...

Back on topic. Should have an update to my cheaper mounting solution for my fridge, got all the hardware for it and got most of it built, just have to put the fridge in the truck tomorrow night to make sure it works.

Should be better than ratchet straps and such though.
