Thanks! Matches the kings, also have some shackles painted the same color but still drying.

It is a Bruteforce Fab, one of a few on this site anymore. Super light weight too, I've got more pics in my build or I can post them here

Thanks! It's a tight fit but worked out great. It's a VR-8000-S, I got it local for $400 and it was used 5 times so I said why not

Ah, I'm running 295s, if I get new wheels, I don't want to deal with spacers also.

    Bumper looks awesome btw.

Just finished up making a Cadillac 4 tone horn setup for @1997tacomav6 using four Delco-Remy horns from a 1985 Cadillac Fleetwood. Consists of A, C, D, and F tone horns.

If you guys are interested in a setup for your truck PM me! It mounts in the front factory valence where the vertical radiator support bolts to the bottom of the truck. We can work out a custom bracket if your lower valence is occupied.

Yeah that's what would probably mess things up is that size. I get that with spacers as well, but I haven't heard of too many issues with first gens :notsure:

    Thanks!

Maybe someone here can help. I asked in the suspension thread and didn't get any replies.

A couple months ago I installed a complete OME kit on my truck. (It's an 02 xtra cab 4x4). Got the 881 springs and nitros up front along with trim pack on driver side. Rear has new leafs and nitros.

    Here's my problem(s):
    1. Rear of truck got lifted at least 4 inches. I was sorta expecting more than 2 inches all around due to sagging suspension. But only got about an inch out of the front. There's no extra weight either.

    2. Truck has the lovely Taco lean on the driver side even with the rear springs on correct sides. I double checked.

    3. I want my truck level. I started to go with the 882 coils but was afraid they'd be too high without extra weight up front. Without the weight in the bed I have nearly 4 inches of rake.

I contacted the company I purchased from and they just said let it settle and put weight in it. Well it's been at least 2 months with about 250lb in it and it's still much higher in rear with the weight out.

Here's a pic of the truck with weight in the bed. You can also see the taco lean.

Any suggestions on why its leaning and why I got so much lift in the rear? What can I do to either bring the front up a bit more or get the rear down? I'll try to get a pic today without the weight in the bed

The reason it's leaning is gas tank, driver and battery all on one side. Make sure that trim packer is on the driver side or get the 10mm spacer and throw it on top of the coil. To get the rear down you can always take out a leaf

The trim packer is on the left side front. I thought that between it and the side specific leafs that it should eliminate the lean

Hmm typically it does, I know the side specific leafs didn't cure my lean. I had to crank up the coil-overs to fix that

Thanks. I've just been aggravated and annoyed with it after spending good hard earned money that I saved forever to get the lift. From everything I read OME was the best for my needs and from pics of other trucks I would get the look I was going for with it.

Looks really good to me, though I'm a huge fan of rake and all of it's utility. Use and added weight will cause the springs to sag with time. You can see I had some pretty strong rake at first like you. (same suspension setup)

and how time and weight have brought them down. Roughly one year/4 wheeling trips later. Wish I had the rake back.

Like Josh said, you can pull a leaf or one of the overloads if you want less lift now. I wouldn't consider raising the front. That'll just have you wearing out cv boots.
