No problem. Obviously, I am not in any rush. My evenings, for the most part, are free now as well, so we can try and work something out during the week too, if you want.

 

I had a similar experience at Cheesecake Factory.

we went there for our 5 year wedding anniversary since the wife loves it (and that particular one made a decent "Old Fashioned" that made me happy. haha) and we had reservations... they sat us in this little tiny 2 person booth next to the kitchen... no one came over to take our order, talk to us, (not even drinks) for literally an hour after we sat down

The wife and I were having a conversation, but I was finally like "dude how long has it been since we sat down? Is someone gonna take my order" so I pulled a manager and he was a dick about it... the entire evening went downhill fast (since I'm not exactly subtle when I'm upset)

I wrote corporate and explained the entire evening, they asked me to scan my receipt and send it to them (which I did) they not only sent me a gift card for the entire amount (including tip) but another $100 gift card

I was actually really impressed and that's the only negative experience I've ever had w/ them.

I always feel like I need to be carried out of Bdubs. haha

 

So think of NoVA like New york, and in each of the Burroughs (Asburn, Springfield/Alexandria, Fairfax) you got your groups, and in those groups you got the ICONS, KINGS, The 255, the 285, the overlanders, the campers, the mall crawlers, weekend warriors.

Yea I have had that experience there a few times since I have been a lot in my time. That is cool that they took care of you, as the traffic there can get overwhelming and its easy to get forgotten, not that it is acceptable. On another note, I embrace the heart attack there too with a 4 cheese pasta dish WITH alfredo sauce instead of the marinara. For the ones that know about this, they are like nice man...the servers that don't think Im going to die mid meal. Its worth it if alfredo pasta is your thing.

 

I could meet up during the week, although this week I am flying out on Thursday night. Let me know man and I can try to be available. Do you by chance have any butyl rubber for resealing the headlights after?

hahaha I can totally see that... we all give each other shit but at the end of the day, it's all coming from a good place.

you get that at Bdubs??? lol you really do enjoy getting "off the wall" things at restaurants..... a Philly Cheesesteak at Outback, Pasta at a wings place.....
