I recently bought a cheap cover off of Amazon/EBay for $229 and wanted to tell u all about it.

I got it today via UPS not damaged and as i went to pick it up i noticed it was light, the shipping label said 29 LB .

The whole thing comes fully assembled all u have to do is put it on the truck and mount it.
It comes with very simple instructions (4 steps) to install, the cover comes in its own storage bag, an L.E.D. light for when its dark, and some mounting hardware.

It took me (1 person) about an hour to mount and button everything down but i was taking my time.
It comes with clamp mounts that go in the side rails (see pics).

The LED isnt bad but there is only 1 led on it.
Im not complaining because i didnt get this for the light, i was going to install my own anyways but this will do for now.
It may not be a hardtop but if u get/have a locking tail gate, some one would have to cut this thing open to get whats inside not just open and go.

Id rate this a 5 out of 5 as the price and ease of install.
Not to mention the LED light that comes with it.

This is how u secure it so u can drive with it open
This is the quick release clamp near the tail gate and the LED light with the red button.
This is the clamp that hold the base. As u can see, it is easy to undo so u can remove the entire thing with ease.

Hey zkdawg, I just bought the same cover for my Tacoma Short Bed but the rail system is getting in the way. I noticed in your pictures you are latching onto a cleat that you put into the rail system. Where can I get that cleat, or what's it called. I'm googling rail system accessories but can't find the silver piece that seem to be using. Thanks man, Jesse J.

    Update....
Never mind, I found them here but thanks to your pictures, I knew what to look for. Thanks again.

Did everyone's aluminum clear slide easily into the bed rails? My aluminum cleats only slide 3-4 inches into the rails and then they're jammed up....yes, the set screws are backed out. The cleats closest to the tailgate are fine because they don't need to slide in that far, but the ones closer to the cab need to slide another 10-12in. Just checking to see if anyone else has had the issue before I call Tyger on Monday. Thanks

Nope, never had a problem sliding mine in, check to see if maybe there in a small dent in the rail that would jam it up.

Turns out my rails have a slight bow in them. Ended up taking the grinder to them and made them work.

Thank you so much for this review - I wasn't sure about this cover because the price is so inexpensive compared to other brands. But I am going to order it now!

i have a tyger tonneau and it doesn't fit well to my 33rd gen 2016 trd sport . it hangs over on each side about 1&1/2". I like how it functions definitely it just doesn't seem to fit. i went to the tyger auto website and noticed the covers only go up to the year 2015 when you search them. maybe i'm doing something wrong in my search, but this cover i have on hand is def not the correct one.

Absolutely loving mine so far. I’m waiting on some rain. Hoping it’s adequate. I know Tonneau covers aren’t considered water tight products.

I’ve had mine on for about a month now. I love it and it stays pretty dry. I did put some weatherstripping in the holes at the cab and that helped. Took me about 45 mins to install, once I realized that the bag with the rail clips was still in the bag. Was going crazy trying to find the clips from the original pics here. Haha.

Overall, I love it. Great buy and fits great.

Thanks for the reviews guys! I was looking at this on Amazon and figured I'd see if anyone on here had one.

    Thanks again!

I have the same on my truck. Inexpensive, but good. I wouldn't say it seals too well, and being a soft cover, it wouldn't be great for security... but obscurity is decent security. I like it for the price. Eventually I'd want to get a rolling cover like the BAK Revolver.

When I do longer trips towing my camper trailer, I may end up looking at getting a Softtop.
