I don't think this is the correct tread to post this but i have exact same problem as you. If you find out anything let me know. Mine is sporadic and at certain hills around where I drive. And not all the time either. But I can't duplicate it for the dealer so I could get warranty if this means the tranny's are going. Mine started the day after I got a Super Charger installed. May be coincidence but it is weird

I would maybe start a new thread for this??? In the main section

Installed my 2nd Gen no drill/license plate relocation bracket bought from ACEkraut here on TW. Looks way better and now my hidden light bar works a lot better. Installation was fast and simple..!! Thanks man, you hit a home run with this bracket imho...

After pic. The stock location on the bumper blocks the lower grille opening. If you look closely you can just make out the light bar in the lower grille..

Do you have a bigger fuel pump? I noticed my afr was a little leaner after first installing but the ecu seems to have adjusted back to normal after driving it a few miles. Mostly noticed it at idle

Sorry to say, because I'm gonna miss it, but I traded in my 2012 Tacoma for a new 2017 4Runner. I paid $27k for it new in the fall of 2011 when the 12s came out, I got $20,000 for trade in. Moral to this story, Buy Toyota.

My Driver door started squeeking & popping, then suddenly the window wouldn't roll down more than half way. Took door apart to investigate... The guide on the tension bar is worn & the end wore all tge way thru the striker plate & bent the Window guide bar. Seriously Toyota Engineers, this was a good idea?

Sounds like my wife until I told her that her knees are going to go through her face in a wreck but also didn't tell her to take them down.
