I really like the way the truck runs with ECT on but never remember to turn it on. Is there a way to reverse the switch so it is in ECT mode when it starts and only reverts back to normal when you push the ECT button?

Or, is there a way to permanently keep it in ECT mode?

    Drawbacks to fulltime ECT mode?

    Thanks!

There was another member that used his ebrake release button to select ECT. Kinda fancy.

. . . . or you could just remember to push the button. It's part of my routine. Start the truck, push the button.

In Western NC, I always have gotten 18+. I use it all the time under 60.
As a retired airline pilot, it's never been an issue to check switch positions before start and shutdown. That includes the AC fan switch!

I'd definitely do the mod if I didn't have to see the light when it's on

There was another member who was working on a ect on incline mod to enable it when past a certain incline. Was a killer idea. I'll find the thread when I'm back on a real browser
