Mine is currently dressed up with a Crown Royal bag LOL. I barback at a nightclub and these things are literally a dime a dozen. A guy I know used one as a shift boot in his old BMW 5-Series.

From what I gather, the seats plug into just right above the top of the safe, but not sure. It's flooding where I'm at in Houston and don't want to go look at the truck lol

Finally went through the pictures of the big road trip at the end of July. Drove from Missouri to Yellowstone and back through South Dakota. She took the 2200+ miles like a champ.

They say I'm crazy for thinking this is the best pic from the trip.

Nice! My buddy uses them as reel covers for his surf rods. He even gets the flavored ones to spice things up lol

    Not much so far
Awesome background, and great looking truck. I've been debating debadging my white sport, but can't decide

Installed Overhead Compass and Temperature Display along with outside temperature sensor and wiring; LED lights reverse backup; LED license plate lights; Added GTA Bluetooth Audio kit to stock radio for iphone audio; Spare tire steel braided air hose extension connection to rear bumper; Installed new headlights along with new bulbs PIAA H4 XTreme and for fog lights PIAA H10 XTreme bulbs. Installed new hood with "hood-scoop". Installed Predator Side Steps. Replaced front chrome grill with customized color matched (Desert Sand Mica) grill with added TOYOTA lettering (also in matched color), installed and secured tailgate anti-theft devices. Also installed a new external TPMS monitor for all 4 tires.
I don't look at it that way (at least for me).

No I did not add them. The TPMS kit comes complete with additional hardware. If you noticed the pictures that I posted in my first post showing the kit, etc. in one of them it shows the additional lock screws, batteries, etc. and special tool needed.

Yes this sort of kit is "not for everyone" which is understandable.

I don't see it being a pain for me since my tires are brand new. I carry the special tool needed in the center console of my Tacoma. But if any of them need air then I just remove the external TPMS sensor by unlocking it, doing so by just loosening up the locking screw, then just remove the external sensor like you would any normal valve stem cover.
Apply air to the tire, then cover the valve stem with the external sensor, then locking it down with the lock screw using the special tool and that's it.

I mean how hard or how much of a pain is that?

If you continuously are having to add air to your tires on a normal basis then yea I guess it could be a pain but realistically if you have to continuously add air to your tires then common sense tells you that you must have a serious problem with your tires, possibly needing new tires?

One must keep in mind here about the locking screw(s), it is really not necessary to have to use it. You can just put the external sensor on each tire and be done with it.

But the purpose of the locking screw(s) is to prevent theft of the external sensor. Why would anyone want to steal them or just one of them is beyond me ?? but still I like having them locked down to prevent this from happening. At least the TPMS kit offers this.

Heck though if they really want to steal them, they will.

Lastly, this particular TPMS kit is not perfect nor is it the best or most expensive (which there are some that are fancy and cost $$$ if you want). I purchased this particular one for the $ valve.
It does what I want for what I spent and so far I'm O K with it.
