    Cool deal for sure. I'd like to see a pic of it mounted with some sort of padding and a long gun with some sort of strap or something to keep it from flying out when you slam on the brakes.

    If someone wanted to retain their stock grab handles you could make the rack wide enough to fit around the handles. Then remove headliner to soundproof and install 4 riv-nuts to mount the rack.

    It's not too hefty at all and feels pretty sturdy. It will suck once the plate has to go in. Haven't tried it with the plate but it'll be awkward at first without the grip.

    I designed it so they could be bent up for added rigidity across the middle. But after testing it (without bending the tabs up) it is surprisingly stiff.

    I plan on it. Just need to source some components and figure out if this is getting CNC'd on the vertical mill or have it waterjet cut.

    I can help you with component sourcing....just let me know (PM me) the components and then I'll help you with the sourcing them. If you look on the Prinsu section you will see I was able to source nearly all the components for his racks with the exception of the side rails which are the custom pieces ;)
