I can always open them up later on and give them my own touch :) (which I still plan on doing)

but they will go a lot better with my build than the other ones

    Thanks.

Although I ended up just taking it off and embracing body roll as a way of life.

I'll just take them off... I was actually thinking of doing some custom "Tacoma" decals.... kind of like your Tacomaholic ones.. but more "nightmare" orientated :)

I did the same thing on my 3rd gen, and I plan on doing the same thing on my 2nd gen in 2 weeks when we do the lift on that

Ugh I knew this was going to happen this way.

Went out to the truck at lunch. Battery dead. Couldn't even jump it so it must have finally died. Good run really, original battery in my 2012.

Now I've got a dead truck i'd like to start driving again asap. But given the opportunity I should probably upgrade to a Group 31 AGM battery as I'll be running a 12v fridge and winch and such soon. Doing that would leave the truck not running for a while as I wait to get a new cage, plus I'll need to extend the battery wire.

So what to do? Toss a $130 battery in and start driving again tonight, only to get rid of the battery soon and waste that money? Or live with driving the Miata until I can get all the parts. First world problem right here.

Or use that 130 Battery as a secondary battery in your truck bed and trickle charge it and use it for camping and shit.

I've really been on the fence about what to do for aux power. I really like the idea of dual batteries. With a proper controller, it gives you a second battery to jump start with which gives me a lot of piece of mind since I'm automatic. But it adds a lot of complexity and cost that I'd rather not deal with if I can avoid it.

They have some decent setups on here that don't cost and arm, leg, and testicle. prob be one of the last things I tackle once I get everything wired up.
