How bad would this be guys? My wife has been not so subtly hinting that she wants a newer t4r. It looks like just the driver airbag went off and the crash bar doesnt even appear damaged so the frame and engine bay should be fine. I found both fender replacements for like $100 total (ready to paint i think) and then a hood would be a couple hundy and the grill and bumper cover about the same. If i could get the car for ~5k and put $1500 worth of parts on it and get the air bag redone and a new paint job, then get a rebuilt title, have a 100k mile t4r for under $10k and a little bit of wrenching. (estimated repair cost is like 17k but im sire parts mark up is pretty high and my labor would be free so...)

The is a 2015 in similar out side shape but all the side curtain airbags came out too and i figure $1000 a pop on airbags is low ballin it

Had a phone call with an HR manager at a reputable motorsports parts manufacturer earlier.

When asked why I was interested in the position, I replied "Well for one, I'm a petrolhead."

She goes, "A what?"

How do you get a job, even in HR, with a niche market like that and never have heard either of those words?

 

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say she's either the daughter of the companies owner or a super hot lady that likes wearing tight skirts. Or both...

But she didn't sound very...schmexy.

 

She could have one of those throw off voices. You know kinda like a 100 yard looker. Looks good from a hundred but get close and heck no! Her voice could be opposite. Sounds like a nasty tramp but in reality she's a sexy secretary. I know I'm reaching here but ya never know.
