Installed Overhead Compass and Temperature Display along with outside temperature sensor and wiring; LED lights reverse backup; LED license plate lights; Added GTA Bluetooth Audio kit to stock radio for iphone audio; Spare tire steel braided air hose extension connection to rear bumper; Installed new headlights along with new bulbs PIAA H4 XTreme and for fog lights PIAA H10 XTreme bulbs. Installed new hood with "hood-scoop". Installed Predator Side Steps. Replaced front chrome grill with customized color matched (Desert Sand Mica) grill with added TOYOTA lettering (also in matched color), installed and secured tailgate anti-theft devices. Also installed a new external TPMS monitor for all 4 tires.
I don't look at it that way (at least for me).

No I did not add them. The TPMS kit comes complete with additional hardware. If you noticed the pictures that I posted in my first post showing the kit, etc. in one of them it shows the additional lock screws, batteries, etc. and special tool needed.

Yes this sort of kit is "not for everyone" which is understandable.

I don't see it being a pain for me since my tires are brand new. I carry the special tool needed in the center console of my Tacoma. But if any of them need air then I just remove the external TPMS sensor by unlocking it, doing so by just loosening up the locking screw, then just remove the external sensor like you would any normal valve stem cover.
Apply air to the tire, then cover the valve stem with the external sensor, then locking it down with the lock screw using the special tool and that's it.

I mean how hard or how much of a pain is that?

If you continuously are having to add air to your tires on a normal basis then yea I guess it could be a pain but realistically if you have to continuously add air to your tires then common sense tells you that you must have a serious problem with your tires, possibly needing new tires?

One must keep in mind here about the locking screw(s), it is really not necessary to have to use it. You can just put the external sensor on each tire and be done with it.

But the purpose of the locking screw(s) is to prevent theft of the external sensor. Why would anyone want to steal them or just one of them is beyond me ?? but still I like having them locked down to prevent this from happening. At least the TPMS kit offers this.

Heck though if they really want to steal them, they will.

Lastly, this particular TPMS kit is not perfect nor is it the best or most expensive (which there are some that are fancy and cost $$$ if you want). I purchased this particular one for the $ valve.
It does what I want for what I spent and so far I'm O K with it.

    Sway bar delete.

Not as much difference as I expected. You. Gotta really push it to get any body roll.
    Coils are stiff enough....

More front end flex. Much easier to work on front suspension. 35lbs off the nose. All wins.

Pelfreybilt bumper brackets installed at same time.

Meh, I got a refund on my extended warranty before it kicked in. I have faith in toyota lol.
If you wheel a lot it would be a pain but sounds like it works for you.

No wheeling, off roading or anything else like that, just used for normal driving for me.

Well, I received ditch brackets; which had Rigid Dually Side Shooters waiting for them, but had to first prime and paint brackets. While they were drying, I ran my wiring, replaced the goofy Rigid switch with a flush push button type, and voilla.... Ill go get pics, gimme a moment.
Also installing some mini loop tie downs in the bed before I go to the gym... Ill be back with light pics.....

Takes less than an hour to find out if you like it. Take it out and put it back if you want to.

I've heard of people trying to use them on the 2012-15 models and they had problems with it hitting and damaging the cable that holds the tailgate.

Well the one i have still messes with the cable, when you close it you have to slid the cable to the left side of the cylinder. Kind of sucks but its not a huge deal don't really see how they could engineer it not to damage the cable to some extent...

That would suck having to do that every time you raise the tailgate. I'd probably forget to do it every time.
