Welp. I found a decent chunk of my 2007 swiss cheesed where it transistor from the boxed section to the C channel. ive got an appointment to get it inspected Wednesday by a dealership who's "never heard of this before" going to take as much of the paperwork with me as i can and hopefully they wont BS me as ive got well over a 10mm hole in the frame.

I'd say the end of winter is all it would take for a sizeable hole to form. Most of that bubbled rust is just sitting there covering up the underlying damage. Remember, these frames rot from the inside out, so pay close attention to the frame transition areas by the cross members, where it's boxed in.
Beating the shit out of it with a hammer will cause you troubles but feeling around and accidentally knocking off surface rust shouldn't be an issue. JUST MY OPINION.
A car wash high pressure hose will open up anything that's just below the surface.

This is Toyota's solution to the corrosion issue. I just couldn't resist crawling under the loaner...
The coating inside the frame rail is a waxy, soft substance just sprayed into the cavity, and, all the areas with open seams had an epoxy applied over the gaps in metal.
We'll see in about 8-10 years how the 3rd gens hold up.

The previous campaign for 2005 to 2008 MY(LSC-E0D/ESD, ended 3/31/2016) indicated two differing "coatings" as shown below:

The 712AM Internal CRC seems to be a Toyota proprietary product, Noxudol 300S however is a commercial product--here is the Noxudol MSDS, nothing spectacular in its ingredients and their claim to be "solvent free" is a bit specious. According to the MSDS it is 40 to 60% petroleum distillates...

yeah im just worried that if all i get is the CRC then what happens in 3-4 years since the extened warrenty ends in may of 2018? will i stil be covered because the crc is supposto slow down the rust? what happens if my frame fails in 2-3 years? im out of luck i guess? or does having the crc extent my warrenty longer if anything were to happen? im getting ready to have a family in the next year or 2 i dont need a ticking time bomb under me? also will toyota fix my frame if it fails? after the extended warrenty? frustration has settled in

Actually you have the latter of 12 years from the date of 1st use or 1 year after May 2017. So, your '07 is going to be covered till sometime in late 2018 or early 2019, depending on when it was originally sold.

I forget how they do a 'Hole Test' but I would expect to see some sort of disturbance near the inside of your frame rail, where that rust bubble is hanging on for dear life...
If there ain't a hole on that truck right now, it shouldn't be long before one rears its ugly head.
Edit: the perferation test info is in here somewhere for those wondering. I'm just being a lazy bastard at the moment and don't want to look it up..

yeah. Also, did they give you any grief on the lift kit? ive got a full OME kit all the way around, it would suck if they wont transfer that over and charge me for replacement suspension.

No problems whatsoever. It never even came up. Most parts for a lift are those needing swapped over anyways, I.e. struts/spacers, springs, etc...
The only thing that might be forgotten in the mix is the diff drop or something along those lines...Which, from members opinions on here, aren't needed anyways. Lol.
