My TRD-OR-AC says to keep tires at 30 lbs. Now I have a tire warning because one tire is at 29 lbs, wtf, I wonder if everyone is doing the 30 lbs

Doesn't matter what you chose to run.

As long as they are all the same the TPMS will be happy, although 1# delta seems a little sensitive.

But the thing is so stupid you can put one side of the truck in the sun and the other in a cold shadow (pressures change ~1# per 10* up or down) and it will light it up.

Regarding running pressure, you should experiment using the standard tread chalk test an arrive at your own optimum pressure. If you are still running OE tires, 30 is probably the right starting point.

OE tires, do what the door says. After Market, do your homework.

I'd be lucky if my tires were within a pound across the truck.

dsixnero, the system has a threshold set for certain percentage below the preset value. I forgot what the percentage difference was before it triggers the light, you can reset your TPMS again when all tires are at 30 or however you stagger the front/rear pressure. Once you reset the TPMS system and drive for a few miles, it will learn where your new baseline pressure values are and your one "odd" sensor should equalize with the rest, when the TPMS ECU sets.
