Car is still on. Re-installed all three necessary items and still getting the same error message on my Surface Pro. I may have to grab the wife's MacBook, download Windows and try it there.

When you say "on", you pressed the button twice, right? All accessories are powered but the engine isn't running.

What you're saying is not unreasonable, but OVT opened the door to order status queries when he brought them up himself. I happen to be in the group of orders he mentioned.

Shut Down Surface Pro and install the updates that were waiting, turn back on and it works just fine. Can't figure out why that would make a difference but it did. Sorry to clutter this thread up more.

That's good feedback in case others have the issue.

I initially had a problem trying to get mine to write the file...said write failed or install failed or something like that. I had the Tactrix plugged in first, then turned the truck on which I'm not sure if that caused a communication error. The second time I unplugged everything, then turned on and plugged it all in and it worked fine.

    Seems a bit quirky.

Pending Windows updates put components in a limbo state. So for example if you have something that relies on .Net and you have a pending reboot for a .Net related update anything relying on the framework will not work properly.

OK I need some help from the guys that have already sent stock tune out to Mat.
I've completed reading ECU and saved.
Here is where I need help, I can't find the two files Engine and Tranny to send Mat.
Where do I need to look on my computer for them and what does the title of file look like?
Thanks, sorry to ask such a remedial question but I've looked everywhere and computer files are foreign language for me.

You can't get it from your "sent emails" box?

It should be a .bin file

I'm trying to send it. But have no clue where it saved once I read the ECU and hit save.

Matt, I have read where you said our trucks cant breathe and would benefit from a better exhaust. If we were to replace our stock to spec U exhaust on a 87 tune, what kind of power increase are we looking to get? Also If we were to replace the 2 back cats with straight pipes, are we able to achieve the similar output/results as the exhaust? Just trying to determine if the exhaust is a absolute must for more power. Thanks

Anyone around CO Springs have this tune done that wouldn't mind me driving it? Getting really close to ditching this pos drivetrain.

Drove a buddy's 3.5 Ecoboost 10 speed... holy shit it is awesome
