I have an AO Smith in my basement with some age to it. Thinking of replacing before she pukes. I really like the looks of the stand but may be a bit tall for my needs.

 

Stands are 18"

 

Maybe I could go with a pan resting on a couple of pavers?

Water heaters can be had as a tall skinny or shorter and fat.

 

Or a low boy 50 but you'll pay more. Do not get a Bradford White! They can't last residential tank warranty period!!!

 

I try and put most on a paver in a pan if needed.

 

Existing is down on concrete floor. Don't care for that. Thanks for help.

All kidding aside Cincinnati and a lot more of the olde machine makers knew what they were doing only those machines that were scrapped because of stupidity are not around anymore most of the rest of them are still working today in live shops.
