Don't get me started on fox....their hi flow piston shit is just garbage and the goofy shims, the overlap is just harder to tune if you've never messed with em, sequential style layouts are more pronounced to changes I've found, granted I set my stuff up pretty stiff so I don't want all that bypass and my coilover is valved pretty light to keep the adjustments mostly with the bypass

Ahhh!!! Now I remember why I unsubbed.

20 on comp with a flutter.
10-12 on rebound depending on unsprung weight.

20 on comp? I didn't know they made shims that thick haha.

In all seriousness that seems pretty stiff, but I'll see what's in there right now and decide if I want to mess with comp. I think I really just want to slow down rebound a bit.

But I'm having issues while really crawling in the mall lately. And there is a 5 mile sections of whoops between the mall and my house. I don't want to end up like this...IMG_1144.jpgIMG_1145.jpg
Plus the speed bump jumps in the parking lot.

In all seriousness I can usually see through the sarcasm and clearly can add to it. But as mechanically inclined as I am with working for a performance shop for years, valving was always considered a black art to us that we sent suspension out for. We could dial in clickers and bypass settings, but give us the right start if point.

20 is normal for a desert truck. I'm assuming that's what you were asking for?
If you want street valving...that's a paid engagement.

For the front 20 comp is pretty standard, I'm runnin 15 comp 10 reb in my coilover and 20 comp 12 reb in my bypass lol rear is 18 comp(too light I think) and a 10,8's rebound....works pretty dang well

Yeah I gave up on trying to get the back to where I'm satisfied until I throw down for bypasses.

Other than a spare tire in the bed and a 20 pound tube bumper I have no weight. Just seems like I can't get it do okay on the chatter and smaller stuff. It's pretty decent on the bigger stuff but I'm not smashing whoops all day.

Slowed down rebound some (against advice I've gotten) but it helped a lot. Just feels super stiff still but I'm pretty happy with it overall.

I've ran double stacked 20s on comp before, it all just depends on what you need. For a mild cruiser, you could start at 15 fluttered for comp if your worried about being to stiff, but if you want it to work better in the desert I would do the 20 with a flutter stack

Hey I was just saying what I'm kinda currently running with my truck and driving style...for reference to some people I guess.

If you have a triple bypass(I have doubles) I like to have a pretty aggressive bumpzone and run the airbumps with not a lot of pressure in em( soo little comp tube turned in quite a bit) and the big comp tube I'd run it in all the way and hits bump section the same speed a few times then unscrew it a turn or two then hit that section as close to the same as you can... better or worse? If it's better unscrew it another turn better or worse? Does the truck hit bottom hard? If so stop with the big tube and turn the lol tube in some.... rebound is easier if u can hit a mellow jump or get the truck weightless and then hit a gout, if it feels like your bouncing turn the tube in... u want the rebound as fast as possible without losing stability.... main point is write down every adjustment and how it performed and try to be methodical.... one step and tube at a time

Just put in double 50 stacks on comp and 4 stacks on rebound, then you can hit crazy shit like Baldwin on doonies.

I'm a mid travel pee-on so bring me to the guillatine. #letmegooglethatforyou there's lots of good valving info out there on pirate and in links in this very thread! Put in the work millennials
