Hello, I am having a difficult time deciding whether the TRD Sport is justified for the extra cost. If I got the SR5, it would be the 3.5L. I think the only real issue for me is the 6-speed manual in the TRD Sport (vs 5-speed manual in SR5). Is the extra gear a major upgrade (I have only driven a 5-speed manual)? I don't need push button, LED DRL's, 17-inch rims would be nice but I may end up getting aftermarket anyways, wireless charger/120V outlet are just "nice to have" items, etc. I am not even sure what the TRD Suspension really noticeably provides. Any insights from those who had to make a similar decision or have one of the two models would be greatly appreciated!

Ability to get the tech package makes the upgrade worthwhile. BSM is VERY convenient.

I don't think you can even get the Manual in the SR5, only the SR so that would make the Sport even more attractive.

It's true. 5 speed manual is only available in the SR.

Sport comes with push button start, hood scoop and an upgraded radio, wireless phone charger, and 1mpg better...real world price difference is between 1 and 2 grand...compared to the cost of the truck really not a big difference. Sport all the way.

Manual transmission was a must for me, so I went TRD Sport with no bells and whistles. Transmission is a joy to drive! My only advice if your looking at a manual is to compare the TRD Sport & Off Road carefully as they are very close in price; there's plenty of good info here on TW. In hindsight I probably would have gone with a TRD OR MT.

Same exact Sticker Price, I personally think the Off Road is a better value.
