On Sunday I tackled the install of my new Allpro expo springs.
Ran into a bit of a snag,
They sent me springs for a first gen!
So after 5 hours of hard work, I am back to my stock springs w AAL ,F#%!!
Allpro has ordered a UPS pickup of the wrong springs and has promised to send the correct ones .
I haven't been notified of shipping yet , and Im not sure if they are going to do anything for me for all the extra work and delay,
    We will see.

I appreciate the info. I think one of the bigger reasons for the locking nut is to prevent air leaking. The sensor has to push down on the valve, so it can read tire pressure. Each cap has a gasket inside to keep it sealed. I'm generally not paranoid about stuff, but if one of those caps comes loose you could start losing a lot of air. Time will tell and I'm glad you followed their instructions by using the lock nuts.
You're right, it isn't that hard to unlock the caps. For the benefit of being able to read actual pressure and heat, that's not a bad trade off. Keep us informed how the system holds up.

Tacoma to the rescue today! An ex-neighbor was coming over to help with some repairs at my place. He was delivered by another neighbor, since his F-150 had broken down about 3 miles from my house. Once the little bit of work here was done, we had to go get a tow dolly, then loaded his 86 4X4 F150 lifted Kentucky redneck mudder truck on the dolly and I had to tow it about 30 miles back to his place! The truck weighed 5500 pounds, according to the last time he had it weighed at a recycling yard, but the Tacoma lugged it up over the smallish mountain between here and town, and made it across the county to his place with no real issue!

And HERE is what I had to tow...IMG_3110.jpg

I think if your truck was a dedicated trail rig... Or at least you off-road it every week, than remove it... If not, than leave it on and take it off when you have a trip planned.

I was sure as hell glad mine was on when someone tried to merge in my lane and forced me into the median at 70+ mph!

Not sure where to post this problem/question.
I have a 2015 TRD OD DCSB. 31K miles. I started to notice when climbing a slight incline on hwy 10 the truck downshifts from OD to 4th gear when I get on the gas a little bit, which is normal, But, as I let back off the gas (even all the way off) it stays in fourth and doesn't shift back up to fifth. It didn't used to do this. I can get it back into fifth if I manually move the shifter over to fourth and then back to fifth.

Juat dropped $800 on all new brakes, turned the rotors, and replaced front hub and bearing. The bearing wasn't even on the truck a year and i wasn't running big tires on it for a long time at all. Problem is fixed and truck is all better now. Got almost 130k miles out of factory brakes. Not too shabby if you ask me
