Got mine today. All the pieces were still in the bag. It took me a few minutes to figure out how it mounts.

 

Ya I need to get the video finished and the PDF file.

The bolt with a lock washer come from the back side. Then a lock washer and nut on the out side. The small screws are easy to twist off, So use an 1/8 drill bit and give it a slight wobble when you pull the drill out. Making the drilled hole just a tiny bit bigger. Also need to bend the back screw tab on the seat track in about the same thickness as the metal.

Mine came in the bag yesterday; actually surprised the P. O. delivered it like that. Assembly was straightforward: had to bend the front side of the tab on your piece that slips over the frame rail, then flexed the piece at both ends to get the tab started, with the 1/4" bolt already in the piece . That's when I figured I was supposed to use the hammer gently. It all went together fine, and for sure it won't be going anywhere now!
Thanks for sharing the invention. Do you think you could come up with a cure for the clutch pedal bushing?

Its a tight fit. did you install like the photos I posted? The thickness of just the nut is perfect as a spacer.
As far as clutch bushings I thought there was a brass bushing people were replacing it with.

 

Yep, bolt went in as you said.
So I can just search 'brass bushing' and go?

1st gens maybe impossible to find in Texas now. That will suck if yours is flooded.

Brahda, I hear ya. And the news in Cali is already warning of used cars from TX being sold after a good cleaning.
But this is TW! We've got the best/worst critics with feelers out across the country critiquing finds.
