I was washing my truck tonight, and I noticed about a 3"-4" length of the drivers side front Fender Flare, is away from the body about 1/8"-1/4" or so, like it's not stuck to the tape(I guess that's what they use?). It's not a huge issue, I was just wondering if there is a quick fix, or if this is common. I really don't want water getting down inside of it and sitting.

I am taking my truck to the dealer next week to get exhaust and intake put on (yeah, yeah I know, but I've already payed for it, it's in the financing). Would that be something they can fix? I've only had the truck a week.

Also, is there anyway to keep your doors open and listen to the radio, without that god-awful beeping/alarm driving me up a F'ing wall?

    Thanks in Advance

    -Dave

They're gonna do exactly what you were thinking... Pull it off, put new trim tape on, and stick it back on. I've done it before on another vehicle. 3M trim adhesive tape is some powerful sheeit.

    WTF!!??

Is this something they will fix under warranty?Or will they give me some sort of run around? I mean mines only several inches, but I don't want it getting worse.

It's not held on with tape. They use a bunch of fragile plastic clips.

Ya. It's probably just the tape. Crappy tape. The clips will hold it on tight. I wouldn't worry about it falling off. But bring it up with service next time your in for a checkup

They don't use any tape. Just clips. You should be able to put it back on yourself or at least tighten it to the fender.
