I like my sliders (C4) but if I was never planning on going offroad again I would probably get a set of Nfab or other brand steps because they are cheaper and more practical.

Like others have said...if you aren't taking it off road don't do sliders. Total waste of money. Honestly even mild off roading they are a waste of money. Regardless what you'll read here.

You want some steps. Way cheaper and will do the same thing. :D

There are way better options than all pro, just saying, even on a group buy.

I've just found cheaper, same quality alternatives. Never hurts to look around!

Everything I was looking at with filler plates and kickouts always seemed to be in the same price range after it was all said and done. I like the looks of the all pros and decided to go for it with the buy.

Even if you don't off-road, I prefer the look of a rock slider over steps. And it's better to have a not need than to need and not have. Plus, you're supporting a fabricator here in the USA vs most steps that are mass produced in China :oldglory:

With the upward angle at 15 degrees that comes standard, how hard is it to use as a step? Personally I don`t care except the wifey is complaining. I just ordered from SOS concepts for sliders, wondering if I should request it to be flat.

Best slider design, best customer service. Everyone is named Joe.

my sliders have a 20 degree angle and my wife uses it as a step all the time. You can probably order them with 0 angle.

    Another @Mobtown Offroad supporter.

These are burly, these are quality built, the design is one outer hoop for a clean line, customer service is top notch, and you get some pretty sweet plywood once your done to do some other stuff. In terms of rock slider world, they look competitively prices (at least at the two others I briefly looked at) . In terms of step function, they work as steps, but if you don't want to use them as steps then they don't get in the way of entry/exit either.

Definitely check lead times before you order sliders, you may have to wait a few months.

I need steps, yet value factory ground clearance. Steps for me just seem like a step in the wrong direction (heyoooooo)

Ordered mine in mid June, still waiting FWIW. I expect those who ordered a few weeks after that will not have to wait as long.

Mobtown. No kick out, fill plates and powder coated.

I got an email saying the DOM tubing supplier was holding up production back then, but not likely now.
