Heat advisory extended to Friday 2200. Seems we are in for hotter days ahead. It hit 106 today. Chuck must be melting. I hope his power didn't go out.

 

Ok that was awesome :} I imagine a Turners Cube on that would be child's play but get a FNG an old lathe and have him do it wonder what would happen :}

Just got back home after a long day helping a friend with his Motohome trying to resolve some mechanical and electrical issues with it

was really hot today with temps reaching 115 deg and was humid and very hot until about 1500 hrs when the Sundowner winds picked up . Had some pop up T storms but not much rain just dark threatening clouds strong winds and dust devils

 

Good nite guys I'm hitting the Rack , the intense heat today and being outside most of the day did me in . Thought I drank enough water today but guess not as I feel really dehydrated .I'm drinking a lot of water right now try to rehydrate

It's currently 99 deg outside and probably won't cool down much more tonite and is going to be hotter tomorrow

 

If you're still feeling dehydrated, keep sipping fluids and don't forget to eat.

 

I'm drinking bottled water and ate dinner a couple hrs ago

 

So, on my last labs, it showed I was doing too good of a job, not eating enough to properly sustain. I was dehydrated and wasn't eating enough for the amount I was sweating. I wasn't keeping or replacing nutrients.

So the doc had me up everything. I'm still reworking my diet. But the point being, don't let the heat take out what you need without having enough to start with and without replacing what you deplete.

 

We're on our way back home. Randy got a caribou, I didn't get a shot. Weather rolled in so we rolled out. Good trip, saw lots of animals.

 

Well here I am, at work. I was about to go to bed when the phone rang, 2nd shift guy waited until the last minute and called it in and I am on call, lucky me.

Still nice to be out there, I will trade right now

Almost home, mornin' folks.

It didn't suck, we set up camp amongst this the afternoon before opening day.


The next morning a bunch of hunters on ATVs scattered them to the wind. We drove in another 10 miles on a pretty rough trail, and up into the clouds, to find the small bull Randy got the shot on.
