Yea, my buddy down the street from you had his bug out bag ready the night before. Said water was in his garage. His neighbor is this chick that lives by herself with a new born? Weird but she was freaking out. Lol

I even parked outside trhe hood and walked to his house. Had a few beers and left.

Yes sir, Monday night sucked big green donkey balls. Water was up to my garage and it just kept freakin' raining, but it never did get any higher, so very happy about that.

I was walking around the hood yesterday afternoon, and water in spots was up to my knees still. Saw a few cars in the street with water up to the tops of the tires.

Also saw several people who had barricaded their doors from water, which was a waste of effort. They apparently don't see the weep holes in the bottom layer of brick that lays on the slab. Putting door blockages in place is no help since water will be coming in the weep holes even before it gets to the doors. My son wanted to do door blocks too, but I had to explain that it was a waste of effort unless prior work was done to fill all the weep holes. If water gets up to the slab line, it's coming in.

Gotta love the left side of the storm, GLAD TO FINALLY BE THERE !!

Hope we get an update from Dylan and Kelly on their house, since they had water in it.

Going to head back up to cypress today. Gotta see what all got fucked up. I hear there is still high water on barker cypress and 290 but my complex has gone down a lot.

The one that got me was the dad and his kid getting off the basket after being rescued. They had the clothes on their back and backpacks with whatever they could grab....he didn't know where they would go, but he was still smiling! Wow!

    Some folks are surely resilient!

Maybe its time to put down the camera's and microphones and help some people out instead of making $$ off them.
