i think I'm gonna have to postpone the little Sedona run today, there's a lot going on with school starting up and I have a couple of appointments to make today.

I'll try to get something going next week or maybe we can all shoot for like a restaurant meet & greet for all the new folks this weekend

Hello AZ inhabitants, Heading to Sedona Saturday with a small group of trucks. Was curious if there is any dispersed/ or free camping there, or any nice spots you guys have been to personally. Been researching and it seems that its all established campgrounds only. We'd like to stay in Sedona Saturday night. But if we have to we'll drive back down to the Mogollan Rim.

Also any suggestions on trails or sights to see? We have a few locked 2wd trucks but also 4x4s attending. I've done schnebly before, its beautiful but short. Not sure if 2wd locked can do Broken arrow...
    Anyway thanks for the help!

There is dispersed camping at the top of schnebly that will be a little cooler than down at the bottom. Otherwise if you continue down 89a just past Sedona there is dispersed camping off Forest Road 525. The trails off of that road as well are 2wd friendly. Like I have stated in past posts, broken arrow is doable with a locked 2wd if you have 33's and some sort of lift to give you ground clearance. And at that you will have to bump up a few sections and it won't be pretty, so if you don't have a front bumper, it will probably get banged up a bit. A stock 2wd with rear locker can probably make it if you don't care about destroying your front bumper and aren't afraid of the skinny pedal.

No problem. There's a nice big bump you need to get over at the entrance to broken arrow. If you feel like trying, and the 2wd's struggle to get over that, just turn around.

hah so thats the defining factor, nice. I'll see what the group is comfortable doing, both 2wd trucks have lift/tires and bumpers so we might be alright

They should be alright then so long as they don't mind bumping up a few things and pick good lines. But worse case they decide they don't want to, and park and ride along with the 4x4's. That bump is right at the turnout for the parking area.

Hey Northern AZ! I'm headed up your way for the next week and looking at a solo run out to White Pocket Thursday evening overnight into Friday morning (I'm a photographer, see sig). I've heard the trail out there can get fairly deep in sand, but wondered if anyone's made the trek out there and what the likelihood will be that I'll get my ass suck in the sand. (running 265/75r16 Cooper AT3's, OR package.)

    Hey guys,
Do any of you know of a place I can get my exhaust rerouted on a college budget around town? Or if any of you are handy with metal fab?
