@OVTune , if you don't see that super low rpm stumble with this next truck and have a datalogger available I'd be happy to reproduce it on 1.01b with logging. It's no different than stock right now that I can tell but it would be good to get rid of it if possible.

Got my tune uploaded into ECU and went for a nice long test drive. Really happy with what I saw, biggest improvements I noticed in order of magnitude:
    1) hill climbing power definitely improved significantly
    2) feels much easier to shift gears, especially when shifting at high rpm/high load
    3) overall driving feel is much improved, makes you 'happier' to sit in driver's seat
    4) nice, subtle change in the exhaust note especially at high rpm, slightly raspier and with more crackles and pops during downshifting or letting off the throttle at high rpm
    5) engine feels a little smoother than before, less bucking back and forth at low speed and fewer dips and spikes in power at higher speed, I would expect this might get even better as the tune gets through its learning period, time will tell

Thanks again @OVTune. And great work, can't wait to see what you have in store for 1.02, maybe per-gear rev limit changes? :burnrubber::yay:

Unfortunately the dyno is unlikely to show any low rpm issues, really needs a live tune on the road to see what's going on at low throttle/rpm

I have it as well - seems to be similar to stock indeed, and doesn't even seem to do it every drive in my case but hoping data logging will help unearth the source / fix. Still loving the tune - despite the transmissions ongoing identity crisis. Looking forward to results next week!

Steering vibes @ around 2k are back as well which didn't resurface until about 100 miles after flashing. The smoothness is still there, better acceleration off the line, and the shifting is smoother, but alas I'm back to driving in S most of the time to keep it from upshifting too soon, downshifting too late and lugging the engine in a gear or 2 too high.

Let us know what you see after you have >100 on the tune without a ECU clear. See if you see some movement back to old habits. What do you mean by per-gear rev limit change? In ECT I would like the rev limit moved to 6500RPM for all gears and the shifting to be quicker and much firmer than it is.

Remember that most engines don't respond to a rev limit increase due to power falling away early, be interesting to see the curve after a tune

I drive a manual so shifting getting firmer is on me, but what I mean is it would be great to be able to wind it out to like 7500 in 1st. Not safe to run it that high in rpm for a long time I would think, but it would be nice to have all that get up and go in first gear. By per gear I just meant changing each gear individually instead of just, say, raising the overall rev limit to 7500. Also @acemastr not trying to be a dick here, but since were talking about changing the parameters of an engine tune itself, I figured it went without saying that we could edit the high rpm fuel trim to compensate for additional engine speed. I would think we could probably even add more timing adjustments at high rpm for more power as well if the rpm limit were higher.
Obviously this is all conjecture, but I know for a fact that essentially the same 2GR motor is run in the Lexus IS350 with a 7200 rpm redline in every gear, and same with the GS350 except the GS makes more HP than the IS does too. IS comes in at just shy of 300 and the GS is rated somewhere around 320 I believe.

Need 2 (or a splitter). Have to have the dongle plugged in (which is your license key that allows you to load tunes) in addition to the OBDII device (Tactrix)

I thought this was the fix in 1.01B. He knew what was causing the stumble but did not want to share publicly. This was addressed a few paegs back and was one of the things that prompted me to buy the tune.

Totally different problem. that one was a misfire issue, this is something else, I have no misfires
This one may be related to traction control ( my thoughts not his)

He fixed the stumbles that were identified in the 1.01a tune which were not present stock. The stumbles present stock are still there...I don't think he was trying to tune in that RPM range so it makes sense it wouldn't have been corrected.
