    Stoney Lonesome in Cullman, Choccolocco in Jacksonville, AOP in South Pittsburgh Tennessee, are all within 1.5 hours.

    I've heard about Hale Mountain, and Hawk Pride in Tuscumbia...idk about them though.

    Ah. Kind of what I thought. I've been to Stoney Lonesome and Hawk Pride, both to ride dirt bikes. Hawk Pride is on the top of a massive plateau and all the wheeling spots are off the side of it. Great place for dirt biking, just very rocky. Stoney Lonesome has always been too crowded for my taste. Lots of inexperienced folks in side by sides either driving the wrong way on a one way trail or stopping two wide at the top of a hill climb (makes riding a dirt bike quite difficult).

    haha you no longer have a 4 year old vehicle either do you? I have worked out of GM's for several years and we had to have 2 extra trucks just to cover the ones that were in the shop, my wife drove a chevy when we first met (that she bought new in 05) and before it was 6 months old, it was on its 3rd torque converter. the gauge cluster went out after a few years and she never knew how fast she was going, how much fuel she had, or and important temps on fluids that are pretty crucial for smooth operation. I have seen first hand way too many issues with general motors to even get a cup holder from them. different strokes for different folks I guess
