Ok so I need to replace my passenger side its starting to leak. Should I replace the bearing also. I figure since I'm pulling it apart might as well. Also I'll probly do the DR side seals and bearings.

Also is the any good aftermarket seal/bearing upgrades I use.

Best deal out there, on sale now- this kit is for a non-abs, non elocker axle, I'm assuming you're talking about the truck in your sig.

Changing the bearing yourself is a pain in the ass if you don't have a press, even then you need to make a sst to hold the axle bolts.

I agree, if you're seeing diff fluid, it's passed the inner seal, contaminated the bearing and it needs to be replaced.

A lot of times the bearing itself has started to get slop so it causes the seal to leak. Either way, ya know

I replaced the bearing when my axle seal failed. Not sure it was necessary but many posts on this; consensus was to do the bearing as well. I used these parts, all OEM:
    - 90310-50006 Axle seal
    - 90363-40068 Bearing
    - 90313-54001 Axle Shaft Oil Seal
    - 90520-36045 Bearing Snap Ring (2)
    - 42423-20010 Bearing Retainer
You should be able to search for these part numbers and then change it for your year/model.
The axle seal I did myself, and the axle I took to a machine shop, who charged $60 to install the bearing and other parts in about 2 hours.
Be cautious pulling the old seal and installing the new one. You might want to check out this thread; it addresses some issues you may run into:

Thanks for all the reply. My friends has a auto shop where I can use his press. I will go look at the low range off road parts. Was thinking about getting the trail gear set.

A press is definitely needed for this job but you'll also need a special service tool to press the axle out. If you or your friend know how to fabricate, you could make your own SST. I don't weld so I bought a special tool from the company Durasolid. Also, if you want to pull the inner retainer and ABS gear off rather that cut them off, a bearing splitter coupled with your SST is needed.

The videos referenced above are the videos my buddy Sean and I made. We put a ton of research into this repair before making the videos so you'll find it very informative and helpful. Remember to read the video description as well because we put a lot of additional information there.

    Good luck.
