    I mean I guess that's true, my compass display went out in 2012, and I have had to replace 3 u-joints on my truck

    I'm not bothered by it enough to care. I am bothered by not having my truck finished though which, I assume, will not be fixed quite as easily.

    oh yeah brake pads too (the great thing about GM is that brake pad replacements are rarely needed :boink:... well unless a seal or something blows and you wind up soaking them in oil or some other fluid)

    I just sold my 1999 silverado (that my dad bought new in 1999) less than a year ago. Only problem it had was the fuel pump when out when ethanol started going into into gas, but i wouldn't say that is Chevy's fault. I had a very good experience with the bow tie.
