I raced dirt bikes for 17 years. I could write the Great American Novel based strictly upon crash re-enactments.

Let me just say this; You ain't lived until you've unloaded from a dirt bike at 75mph on a gravel road.

 

1st football game of the school year is tomorrow night. I'm almost done with their generator cart, just need to paint it. I cut it close.

 

Our school had built an off-road battery/amp cart that followed the electric bass player around. He marched in the band...and there was a guy who wore a band uniform and pushed the cart behind him.

It was a sight to behold.

 

Worst one was a get off from a Honda XR600 on a fire road.... I hit a log buried in mud and water. I went over the bars, then the bike landed on top of me. We slid a good 100' with a 240lb tank of a 4-stroke bike laying on top of me. At yhe same exact moment, a bee got inside my helmet and stung the shit out of my left eye.

 

Can't sleep. I'm hoping if I say I can't sleep I will get sleepy since that's usually how it goes.

 

Yes...but he's passed the fuck out.

 

1/3 way back to civilization

 

Yeah, I was gonna fly Lufthansa... but needed to reroute trip home to avoid Houston.

 

Houston is re-opening the airports I believe. Hopefully we can get all these people home who flew in and got stuck.

 

Yeah. I heard maybe sometime tomorrow or today? I was being proactive wanting to get home.

 

Oh yeah I get it. I imagine the airports here will be insane anyway.
