SquareUp got back to me and here's what they said:

"Unfortunately, I am unable to process the refund for the seller. If the seller will not issue a refund for a service they did not adequately apply I would suggest you contact your bank to issue a dispute. If you file a dispute with your card-issuing bank, Square will work with them as they decide the dispute. Disputing a charge on your statement is within your right as a cardholder."

This is the best they could do. Hopefully this week Tim updates us with anything!

 

He said he'll try to get on the forum tonight to respond. This will be my last effort at trying to figure out if my order even exists.

Just an update for everyone, I contacted Tim yesterday and heard back from him this morning. He is trying to get everything worked out and is making efforts to get all this remedied and is extremely apologetic. We didn't get abandoned or messed over he really is just swamped.... Gave me some peace of mind to hear back and hope this will help everyone else too

 

Can you provide more details on what was discussed. Like what`s going on with the products, what is he trying to get worked out?

So he didn't provide any specifics particularly. It was mostly just that he is trying to get this all worked out as soon as possible for him. That paired with the recommendations for his company from customers and just hearing back put me a little more at ease. Try shooting him a text... He may be able to give you a bit more, sounds like he has a fair amount to work around right now but he got back to me within 24hrs

 

Thanks, just texted him. My interpretation of our communication was that the parts need to be picked up and shipped. Given his busy schedule, I`m assuming he couldn`t provide me with an exact date of when he is able to do that though. Just the waiting game continues for now... don`t quote me on this, again this is my interpretation.

 

I'd say you're probably at least in the ballpark of being right. All kinda guesstimation at this point but at least there is some communication now... Hopefully stuff keeps rolling, at this point every little bit helps and piece of mind is always good! Looking forward to what you hear back on if he has a timeline

 

He is so busy he cannot login and respond? (20 days now since we last seen him) But he can answer all the text messages you guys are sending? Glad I did not order.

 

I wonder if he works on labor day. Would like get my product any day now.

 

Interesting...subbed to just see if this gets resolved, but if it was me I'd just file the dispute with the card company. Good luck to everyone. Hope you get your stuff.
