Funny thing about the Md flag one of our own members family coat of arms/crest is on the flag and he can't stand the state due to its gun laws and taxes

Try living & working in Baltimore City most of your life..........although Hazard County ain't too bad. At least most of the people up there still have old school mentality, but even that's changing.

I lived in Hawaii as a kid for 4 years. I swear that's where I will die......

I grew up in NY 20 minutes from NYC MD is a walk in the park. MD takes the cake for the worst drivers on the planet though. I swear to god i'd rather drive in NYC than with the majority of the people on the road around here.

Ouch, yea, been to NYC once. No desire to go back up there. Here, all it takes is 50 bucks and 1/16 of a brain to get a license. And it shows.

I need you guys to put the word out that i'm looking for a good home for a very friendly 2yo pitbull (before you make any negative comments about pitbulls please come by and meet him first). His name is Buddy. Po had to give him up due to her new landlord not allowing pets over 20lbs. Po had a 6yo daughter (dog & daughter were inseparable), 2 smaller dogs and a cat. Never a issue. He is up to date with his shots. Po was about to turn him over to animal control where he would've been euthanized so i took him in to rehome. I have 2 dogs and my one is aggressive towards him so i have to keep him in my garage, with a fan & blanket of course. He loves being around people. Please ask around for me. Thanks.

    Yawn...
That's probably the reason why I joined this thread. I wanted to remove my sport decal and get what's shown on the OP's very 1st post. Now that 3 years have passed, I'm just happy everything else is debadged.
Governor Hogan recently issued a statement saying it won't change as long as he's gov. Take a look at it, it's not as plain as the other states.

Hey now! If I remember the reasons correctly - you'd take MD over NY any day!

LOL I hate the MD flag, I think it's incredibly ugly. I think the NY flag is ugly too though so lol. At first yes, I liked MD better than NY. MD does have it's plusses but not many. Mooresville NC here I come! Right on Lake Norman, can't wait!

Since i bought my cabin in WV i love it there, whole different world compared to here in Baltimore. I love their open or concealed carry law. At first it was weird for me seeing almost everyone in the Food Lion with a pistol on their side lol.

so, all this detail talk plus a well placed youtube sidebar video has lead me to actually attempt a "proper" wash tomorrow. well see how bad it ends up. but the truck is already swirl mark and scratch city so i dont think i can make it much worse.

Clay is your friend. You'd be amazed at what it can do.

yup, i scooped up a clay kit, some not turtle wax wash soap, a couple wash mitts and the cheapie microfiber towels , along with some paint sealant. so well see how well i can get it clean. if all goes well i might wash the rally car too.

and , after the youtube video i watched, i realized that the way you use a claybar was entirely different to how i thought it worked, so it should be a 30 minute procedure versus a 2 hour one.

Eh not so much. You basically wash the whole truck top to bottom with soapy water and the clay bar. It should take more than 30 minutes for sure. Wash the truck, hose it off, then go over it again completely with fresh soapy water and the clay bar, then I wash it again. From there, I dry it, polish it, wax it. Takes all day but I love it.

well, i thought you actually had to knead the bar along the entire surface a couple inches at a time, i didnt realize you just slid it along with either some quick detailer or soapy water for lube.

Man Dave, your really tugging at my heart strings......if we didn't work such weird hours and weren't away from the house so long during the day we would have a couple rescues. We would most certainly love to help you out but unfortunately it wouldn't be fair to the pooch.....:sorry:

My neighbor is a foster/rescue mom though. I'll shoot her a text, she has 5 now, 3 rotties, a pit bull mix, and a hotdog named Sophie. She may know someone that can help.

As a matter of fact, besides the charities we support in various ways (including just the other day, donating to the ASPCA while checking out buying decals from @rrentrop), also helping strays when we find them, I keep biscuits here at house for when I see my neighbors dogs while I'm cutting the grass or when my other neighbor walks up the lane with his two labs. We love dogs. I've personally protested down at city hall in favor of pit bulls. We're both firm believers that there's no such thing as a bad dog, just bad owners.

Oh, I also work with another foster mom so I'll ask her too.

I'll do my best to help out .

    Rob

Edit - texted my neighbor, she wants to know where you live.....PM sent

Wow, I bet I've seen that truck up here! I remember thinking how cool it looked reppin' with that simple mod.

I'm not unhappy with the color of mine (or those pinstripes) but if I had the choice they would both be black, or black stripes and the Md flag TRD decal.

    Maybe one day.....
