Get caught trespassing like the snake did...

 

@whitedlite and i saw one at AOP just moseying across the trail. he tried to get me to chop its head off, but i elected to run back to the truck when he started throwing rocks at it. first rattlesnake ive ever seen. ive seen a truckload of cottonmouths and several copperheads though.

 

Saw this the other day near the site where my parents are building their new house

We come across so many snakes in the pools, that they tend to loose their tail just behind the head. I don't take time to try to tell what kind they are. I know there are some helpful snakes out there, but in my book a dead snake is a good snake.
