Took my 2016 Taco on a 3,100mi road trip (Anchorage, Alaska to Boulder, Colorado) for college! Covered the distance in five days. Stopped in Tok, Liard hot springs, Edmonton, and Billings. Let me know if you need advice for doing the Alcan (good copilots are invaluable on trips like this). The rooftop tent sure came handy!

Gonna be towing the camper up to Yellowstone, Glacier then over to Washington and down the coast and back to Phx over 3 and half weeks so figure Id do the 20K service a little early and swap out the diff break in oil while im at it before we leave. Also added a fumoto.

Oh I figured out what that plastic thing that comes with the new oil filter is for after I already made a mess:tinfoilhat:

Yeah I already spiled oil all over the place and was holding the filter canister in my hand trying to figure out what to do with that piece when I shoved it in the hole. Pretty much reenacted the ape scene feom 2001: a space odyssey

What I did today! Took this lovely overhead shot of my truck with my NEW OEM Sport Hood Swap - Thanks again to @Clay and my NEW TRD Red Outlined Windshield Decal - Thanks to @CBoy808.

I think it looks badass and it will especially once I get my Prinsu Roof Rack. Maybe, just maybe, a Black Vinyl Wrapped Roof & Black Vinyl Wrapped Hood/Scoop! For the time being, I'm holding off on those and just going to enjoy this moment!

No build thread yet, still too much work to be down. It looks like we think alike. Once I get a few more mods done, I'd like to start a build page. On my to do list: ICON RXT rear leaf packs for a softer ride and more lift, torsion rear diff, front locker, onboard air, SDHQ hidden winch, and dial in another 1/2" of lift on my front Kings. After all that, upgrade the sound system and add sound deadening. I'm in the same boat as you, wife wants a remodel of the down stairs and all I want to do is spec out my truck. NOT enough money to go around.
