    I am not a plumber and do not even play one on TV but the only time I have seen a tank leak in that area it was shot. The house I had before this one ie before divorce lol. It was a bottom vent style gas water heater no idea of maker now . It was leaking at the edges of the tank inner walls you could hear it hitting the burner and the burner hissing. It had been doing it long enough to leak down through the floor into the insulation that had plastic covering it in the crawl space. Short version tank trashed new unit time. I know you do not need the bs right now I feel for ya :{

    Morning all.

    Turn the flame up high enough and it'll turn the water to steam before it gets a chance to run out of the unit... :D :cookiemonster:

    :wave: Good morning all (1st round). I'm back in sync with my 2AM wake ups. Working thru the laundry from the trip up north. Broke out the Oxiclean to get the blood out of stuff.
    :sorry: Andy, is that three yet? You're overdue to catch a break. I think you might have caught a "Napa Yurt Curse" or something. :(
    If you can afford it, I love the on demand water heater we put in 6 or 7 years ago. Unit and install was pricey, but well worth it. We started seeing a decrease in the gas bill as soon as we put it in.

    It gets sad when they melt down in subzero temps ... I've seent it ... it ain't pretty. :laughing:

    :sorry: Greg, Summer time colds are the worst IMGOBO ... wait every cold you get down there would be like a Summer time cold.
    o_O :boom:

    Says the "Rocket Engineer" ... :facepalm:
