    A thing or two...
At the mod day on the 9th at @Me. Projekt's place. I have some shipping damage to the powder coat that I'm slowly working on touching up, and I have to mount my winch. I've got the bulk of it done. I just need to haul the bunker in the backyard to finish to spray some bed liner.

No limit straps, but according to the install directions, they're not included (sold separately). I emailed JT about this because the straps are showed in the kit parts photo on their website, and nowhere does it say they aren't included. He said they "forgot" them and would get them mailed out tomorrow. I haven't received my Kings yet, either. He thinks they've shipped, and he's checking on tracking info.

That's good man you checked. It's depressing that they missed that. That seems retarded though to not offer to have straps with the kit as I can see some guy going off road with it installed and then blow up his shocks. I would def get it strapped before doing anything with it.

Julie in the office handles all the USAA work. She writes the preliminary estimate, then I'll disassemble the damaged area to make sure nothing has been missed and no hidden damages. I'll add anything additional I find to her estimate. She submits it to USAA, orders the parts, and we start working on it.

Yeah. It seems weird that the straps wouldn't be included. Especially since their website shows them with the kit parts, and I think just about every other kit for the Tacoma comes with them. I'll still probably end up picking up some strap adjusters before I install.

USAA is good until you get hit by someone who also has USAA, then all of a sudden they act like the world has ended, but if it is another insurance company, man are they quick.

That's good to know. Soon as I marry the girlfriend I am looking forward to having access to USAA bank too.

I just signed up for a USAA account through my sister, who was army. I'll be switching my insurance over from geico if they can beat the rates and coverages (I'm sure they can). Before that I had allstate and they were killing me on premiums. Never once did I file a claim with them, and my rates went up every year for no reason. When they hit $900 every six months for my truck and the ex's suv, I said no thanks. 20 years as a loyal customer and thats how they treat a person. With geico they got me to about $400 every six months, so over half off with same coverage and very similar deductibles.

Now that its just me on my insurance, I am down to about $36 a month, so whats that about $200 every six months?

Yeah, no joke. I had Progressive before I switched to Geico, and now I am on USAA. When I was shopping for my truck Progressive was going to raise my 6 month rate by 400 bucks if I made the switch. I told them to take a hike and switched to Geico, which has been pretty good, I just get a better rate with USAA now.
