Right? I'm glad it went down. 850 last year. Idaho was like 120 for two years. But at least we don't have state income tax.

Stampede is the fullest I've seen it since moving here in 2009. Water is almost to the 6k ft level...looks like they are raising the dam. Anyone know anything about this project?

Also, saw 2 lifted Pyrite Mica tacos on 80 on the way out, one with a US undercover winch bumper. Either of you on here? If so

Fishing was decent too. I named this guy dinner and let the other 3 I landed go.

does anyone know how to get to white rock lake? perhaps a trail head. I have a map but does not show any paved roads in the area. I only see pacific crest trail from the 80 area. Those pics that where posted made me want to check it out. Is it ok for a stock truck?

It's been a few years but I think I have the gps saved. It's stock friendly especially this time of year. The paved road ends at the highway. As soon as you turn off it's hardpack/gravel. Off the gravel road it's just a trail/fire road. It gets pretty rutted out and soupy early season but right now should be a cake walk.

PM me tomorrow to remind me and I can dig up the track.

I think I found a way. Does the lola trail sound familiar? I looked at my map some more and found a better spot. I had it all wrong. There is a dirt road off 89 that goes west and brings you to Lola trail.

I've drank a lot of beer since last I was there. Nothing sounds familiar.

However, if memory serves me, I did find a rock climbing forum that had exact turn by turn directions. Stumbled upon it just by googling around.

Sounds good. Not sure how fly fishing is in mid October but I'd be down to take a weekday off for some fishing. I've just been trolling in a little aluminum boat but I'm finally feeling up to working a bit more for it.

Nice! Pyramid lake is super easy to learn. No trees just head wind. That opens up October fish. Truckee river is good all year.
