    you definitely want square tubing for the piece connecting the slider to the frame. Trust me. . . mine took a decent hit and bent (pic in the build thread). It did its job, but I'm not sure if another similar hit wont end up hitting my rocker panel.

    Just my first hand experience/ .02.

    That's good
    Allpro makes fantastic leaf springs and great quality ucas. Their armor, cv boots and LT kit are sub par to high quality. I've seen enough of their work to know they cut corners where possible.

    Round tube is very strong and not at all a bad idea, especially if your truck doesn't see big rocks, but square tubing is better for that piece. If I convinced you by talking about seeing round tube bend and you are wanting them "for" AOP, guess where the last place I saw it happen at was ....?

    I work in corporate America....all my lunches are free. Just kidding, Like Gid and everyone else probably knows especially after LBL. I just don't want to fuck anything up on my truck especially exterior shit. Have a hard time enough when a bird shits on my truck. I pretty much have to buy them this weekend.     I'm the same way....I've destroyed enough 4wds over the past 45 years so I do NOT have any interest in doing anything to damage this one. I know what it's capable of....Just don't feel the urge to push it to that point. Even with sliders, full skids, f & r plate bumpers, etc....I'll still drive it carefully and avoid some things that I probably don't have to avoid. 4-wheeling is more fun if I don't spend the next month crawling around in the driveway fixing shit.

    I'm the guy who washed his truck less than 1/2 an hour after I left the woods at RRG.

    Me. Worth it, debatable. Safe for street driving, absolutely not, unless a high end speed shop will make you an aluminum one. Problem is length and subsequently balancing that length. 5' (60") seems to be the max anyone is comfortable with building one. I measured mine at ride height to be 68 5/8" which was well over what anyone wanted to build me. Things like: a crawl box, dual t-cases, high pinion rear diff and a shortened wheel base would drop you down below that 60" and then a 1 piece would be much safer.

    I have one. 120 wall tubing and semi daily drive it. However like Gideon stated its a high risk.

    Also if your tubing is damaged you can always have a shop retube that section.
