    bearing in middle getting more sloppy. I don't think the amount of movement has changed but it moves more easily than it use to.

    Tom Woods is a high end driveshaft specialist shop. We got a $600 quote for them for an aluminum 1 piece for the supra. If you buy one from them, I would trust it to be safe. But if you plan on running an aluminum driveshaft on your truck and offroading it the way we do, you are hustling backwards real quick. Building a trac bar doubling as a skid bar will help protect it but it's still gonna get hit. Hell just the rocks your front tires throw up on a gravel road will probably damage it.

    Keep in mind Levi also shortened his wheelbase ...

    I drive on the interstate quite often with mine.

    Very true however I'm only a inch or two shorter than a short bed. Pinion angle has a lot to do with it as well.

    If your carrier bearing it giving out, there's not much you can do to fix vibrations besides get a new one. It makes a huge difference. Go OEM though. Dorman is junk.

    1993 Ranger had 2 pc shaft. Bearing inner diameter was 30mm (1.1811"), same as 2nd gen tacoma.
    Inland Empire Driveline makes poly for Ranger.
